TEAM HYBRID Handcycles Jo and her first ride of her Viper power cycle

This is Jo and her first ride on her new Viper power cycle.

The Viper Power Cycle can be attached to almost any rigid frame wheelchair.
It is powered by a Heinzmann 36v hub motor and controller. The battery is either a 9.5ah or 15ah Saft Ni-MH.

As you can see the Viper power cycle opens up a whole new world to the wheelchair user and allows access to terrain that would normally be out of the question or at least very hard work.
We have sourced the best components available to ensure that the Viper will give you a reliable and safe method of transport for many years.

One of the main attractions of the Viper is that you still keep your everday wheelchair. Once the docking system is fitted to your chair it takes just seconds to attach the Viper.
Top speed is 11mph, Weight including the battery is approx 20Kgs. The docking system adds 1.5 Kgs to your wheelchair.

Team Hybrid handcycles can only be fitted to rigid frame wheelchairs not folding wheelchairs.

The motor speed is restricted to approx 10mph. The motor has a freewheel so speed downhill etc is as fast as the wheels can turn.
