@acidchild trying to get my yamaha rx15 to trigger the BP5k, not having any luck. Getting a couple triggers with volume maxed out. But nothing regular. Not sure how the 707 works but I would need to amplify the sound from my RX15 to make it work.

@VJFranzK speaking of "hearing them thinking": i remember that one one my old atari console. also, my not very old pc made funny noises when moving the usb mouse! :-)

9:30 NO WAY! That is an awesome shutdown sound!! Almost all electronics have capacitors that discharge upon shutdown, but I don't think that I've ever heard it.

@BenG9C9 Thanks, it's always easier to discover such noises when the volume is turned way up! Just be careful of course, in case regular voulume noises should come through and blast you! Tube gear is especially awesome, or 80s electronic toys or computers. (Ever notice, on a real 8bit machine, you can actually faintly "hear it thinking" as it does certain operations?)

Interesting, have you tried this with a trigger from something like the TR-707? Ordered my Bliptronic yesterday.

@acidchild I don't have one to try it ;-) but I think it might work.
