I am reviewing a Coleman LED Flashlight I just got at Walmart. I also compare it to my other flash lights including a surefire 6p LED.

  • GET A MAGLITE!!! the xl 100 model not the minimag and did they all have new batteries?? for the test

  • @jbeatles99 All new batteries.

  • Wal mart had the 75, 110 spot/flood, and 2 different 115 lumen models. i ended up going with the 90 lumen model because it was only 17.88 $ Took it out tonight and compared it to my maglite and 6v lantern battery. I knew this light would blow them away but I was really amazed how bright it was and how far you could see. What a great buy. Im saving for a Fenix ld20 r4 but in the meantime this is the real deal. One review said the 110 spot/flood was brighter than the 115 lumen.

  • @tinordy I ordered the ld20 r4, I can't wait to try it out.

  • I've owned these Coleman's for a few years now. Love em, I use them as weapon lights. Threefloursdown did a review some years back i fell in love with the pricepoint.

  • Its 18 dollars?...what a ripoff i paid 0 dollars cuz i stoled it from walmart lol

  • I got the 90 lumen Coleman and there is a down side. The batteries run down quick. Mags can do somethings that colemans cant. They dont run down the batteries like some colemans do. Coleman is alright but i LOVE mags.

  • great review. i bought a coleman 144 lumen light to replace my surefire 90 lumen light because of your review. thank you. :D

  • Three AAA not AA. I love my Coleman. I use mine for self defense, and I like the bezel for striking.

  • @elchicovolcom 104 lumens3d maglite and 69 lumens 2AA minimag

  • On the surefire web it's said that the 6p led have 120 lumens.

  • I just bought one like an hour ago, best flashlight I ever bought. Bright too.

  • That Coleman you have (I have it too) is a good cheapo light but IMHO just save up another $25 and get a decent quality light--it's worth it! Worst thing about cheap lights is they aren't voltage regulated so the brightness you're showing is misleading because it's very short-lived. Also alkaline batteries drain the worst: straight down. Get Nimh (rechargable) batteries, they drain better for better light. Just my 2 cents.

  • Me too, I thought it was 115 lumens, my Dorcy 80 lumens is brighter than this. Talk about misleading, coleman fooled me bigtime.
