dude, you shouldn't do it "baseball" style, thats bull $h!T, it gives you bad technique. learn it right so you don't have to re-learn everything when you realize how inconvenient it is.

you shouldnt always play traditional

baseball has its uses for chords, i mean, unless you're doing barre chords, its really hard to play chords without using baseball

traditional is mainly for scales, soloing and things of that nature

and baseball is not a style, it is a type of left hand technique that is used by, im pretty sure, every guitarist
