Standoff in Burbank

On May 19, 2008, Burbank, IL police officers responded to a 911 call of a home invasion in the 6700 block of West 81st Street. The homeowner reported that he answered a knock on the door and an armed man forced his way into the home. The homeowner and a friend escaped through the back door and called police from a neighbor's house. When police responded, the owner indicated that the armed individual was still inside the home. Police surrounded the house and S.W.A.T. was called to the scene.

After the S.W.A.T. teamed arrived, the neighborhood was evacuated and local schools were placed on lockdown. At one point, smoke grenades were detonated while police lobbed a phone box through the front door and urged the gunman to establish communications with police. After nearly 6 hours of no contact with the suspect, S.W.A.T. entered the residence and found no one inside.

This video was shot by my nephew who resides directly across the street from the house. S.W.A.T. asked for permission to use his home and positioned snipers in a front bedroom facing the house where the alleged gunman was holed up. While all this excitement was taking place, my nephew retrieved his video camera and began filming until he was evacuated and moved several blocks away from the scene. He put together this video with the footage and still photos he shot that day.

Officer Klein is a idiot, He was a patrol cop and soon as his dad became mayor he became detective? Hmm, Also seen jimmy brodnick (maybe mispelled) beat the hell out of a black guy with a billy club, , for trying to steal his car, The cops said earlier if you see the black guy, hit him with the car, you wont be in trouble. All the cops from burbank are on the take or corrupt.
