I don't need a speedo healer I go by the feel of wind in my face, LOL. It's geared -1/+5. The kawiforums are great, they have lots of ideas and help.

congratulation for the bike, is amazing that time on a quarter mile, i have the same bike but yours is faster, your engine are from stock factory or you made modification, i have two brothers pipe and K&N filter.

I stats were:

60ft-1.59

330ft-4.30

1/8 mile-6.54 @ 108.95mph

1000ft 8.50

1/4 mile-10.177 @ 136.83mph

It's stock wheel base, regeared, Penske custom valved rear shock, malaysian jumper mod.The rest of the bike is bone stock from show room floor.

Did you have to remove any limiter or anything like that? I had a 05 636 and that thing launched like a bullet off the line. But my 07 as soon as the clutch is fully released it bogs down to about 3k rpm no matter how much I ride the cluth. Same deal when I try yo wheelie.

wow amazing job man. it sounds like you are releasing the clutch a lil and leavin it right in the friction zone when u launch never allowing the revs to drop. i think that is one of the keys to a fast time. i am syched to go to the strip now. perfect clutchless shifting.
