thanksss!!

i've also heard this called a "ragtime" picking pattern. not sure if its that or travis. sounds like you're a couple notes off, but the pattern is good

practise, practise and practise a little more..
just have patience and keep on playing..and also try to play the cords in different orders..and last but not least..enjoy playing and keep in mind that it will all come together someday, how hard it may seem to be at the moment ;)
-
how can you learn the chords faster.
-
I feel finger style or picking requires tons of patience and commitment than just using a pick. i am on my 2nd year of lessons in standard picking.
-

travis picking pattern?
@psphacksforus You have couple mistakes... first you say 2+4 and later its 5+2 string, after that, there is d-g and g-d at the end... not d-g twice
1. 5+2 a + b
2. 4th d
3. 3rd g
4. 5th a
5. 2nd b
6. 3rd g
7. 4th d
Ppl like this to keep at top so everyone see.

@Toothpasteification
Because it's true. I also play a+b, d, g, a, b, g, d. I think it sounds good, but Kansas actually plays d,g.
