Pope Benedict XVI may be the greatest pope of the modern era. His vast intellect and profound knowledge is totally at the service of Christ and his Church. He is setting the standards and principles for a complete renewal and cleansing of Roman Catholicism. Not only does he speak profoundly every day and in many countries, he presides at great liturgies and celebrates Mass constantly for the good of the Church and in obedience to Christ. How a man in his eighties does this is a mystery to me.
