SUMMARY: A scene from "Nations Pride" (1944) - Starring Fredrick Zoller & Directed by Alois Von Eichberg

MAKING OF: I took the "Making of Nation's Pride" video from Quicktime (http://www.apple.com/trailers/weinstein/inglouriousbasterds/), extracted all of the high-resolution "Nation's Pride" clips out of the video and cut them together into a cohesive scene instead of random clips. I then took some old sound effects from the TV show "Combat!" and Audie Murphy's movie "To Hell and Back" to sound design the movie and get rid of the voice overs. The music if from the "Kelly's Heroes" sound track - "Tiger Tank".

DISCLAIMER: This in no way means to detract from The Weinstein Company, A Band Apart or Quentin Tarantino. I am simply a fan of the work and have edited this in tribute and homage to a great movie.

Check out the movie!

  • The general looks like John Wayne.

  • It's Rod Steiger, another classic American actor.

  • @theparadox86 Wow, my bad. It's Bo Svenson.

  • @TheWarlord900 they actually mentioned that in Band of Brothers, a man was being prepared for execution. His family was german. But he was born and raised in Oregon. In the beginning of the war, before it got into full swing. Hitler sent out a message to the germans all over the world to return to the father land. Many of them did.

  • since when do americans give a fuck about historical artifacts? they didn't during the battle of monte cassino. lol

  • Didn't he say it was French soldiers that he killed?
