I recieved a detailed report about this when it first happened. The only thing that saved those two cops was the holster, it was a Serpa(has a locking mechanism which must be push to remove the pistol).

I'm really surprised the second officer didn't smash the guy in the face. Don't think the perp had the gun, looks like the officer got the perps arms under his and dropped before he could get it.
