Well it's not absurd. It's much more environmentally friendly. Biodiesel has significantly less toxic emissions than standard diesel. I'm not sure what starving people have to do with it. It's created using waste vegetable oil. You can't feed starving people the old crappy oil from McDonalds.

biofuel is absurd , there's millions starving and it takes more energy to make and store it than you get out of it.
hydrogen and electric are the only ways to go. I have several difference efficient things other than sterling engines and efficient solar designs..I'm talking about tapping the Aether!
