Tks...... I ruined the lacquer on the stock with the steam...... so, if you have the Russian refurbished (laminated) be careful

Thanks for the informative video, much appreciated! My Yugo SKS got here a couple days ago from Classic Arms ($300 in excellent/almost unfired condition) and I've been watching your video, cleaning each part as I take it out. This thing is soaked in cosmoline, it'll probably take me another week to finish at the rate I'm going. I like the rifle and am having fun though!

Thanks for inciteful video. Made cleaning after buying from a pawn shop a heck of a lot easier then it would have been otherwise.

@jimmay117 you know that little button that you move to allow the grenade sights to go up? you need to move it back down.

I have the same problem as muslefan. I plan to do a good cleaning thanks to this video and see if that helps.
