I have a question. I noticed this many times in russian words. The russian letter 'o' is called 'o', however when you said it in the phrase 'come to me', you pronounced it 'ah'. So my question is, do you pronounce the russian letter 'o' as 'ah' when you use it in a word?

pronunciation of russian O depends on a stress. In non stressed position it's closer to A
