I'm in tears remembering Daechuri.
This is the hardest video for me to watch in a long time.
I remember sharing tea with you all.
I remember how my friends and I were welcomed to your beautiful village.
I remember the harsh treatment, devastation, and pain.
The way it feels when someone comes into your home and pushes you around.
The injustice is so hurtful that no words can describe this.
No history can justify this.
Now where is the peace village?
Where is the green grass for harvest?
Gone.

Sad to think this is all gone now.. A place where people have farmed and raised their families for generations. And for what reason? I think this is a very terrible situation.

sad also to ask people to leave to build airports or new city aereas
but there is a reason.
Without US military presence South Korean armed forces are defeated by North Korean Army in a few weeks ans NK would not even need to use nuclear weapons.
I undestand sadness of farmers, but I think the withdrawal of Us troops would be much more tragic even for them.
As for US they survived the collapse of the South Vietnamese regime. They will very well survive today the disparition of South Korea
