It's called a GIMBLE machine & it's actually quite ancient technology. Everything on the set is fixed/bolted down & the entire room (note how it's pretty close to a perfect square :-) can be easily rotated by a relatively low horsepower motor with a belt drive. The camera is also fixed so as long as the machine moves smoothly & the couple's choreography is crisp, it makes for a pretty magical effect! It's like this room is in a zero-G atmosphere (in space, or at least in orbit), encased in a thick solid containment that somehow simulates gravity on its outer perimeter (with people standing on their feet, head pointed toward the center of rotation like on the outer edge of a spinning torus, with the 'ground' consisting of the outer perimeter of this "doughnut-like" object. Sorry; I do tend to go on...
