  • Thank you. Very beautiful. Where is that statue? I do not recognize it...I'm more familiar with Mary as Our Lady of Fatima and as Our Lady of Guadalupe.

  • Thank you for your comment. The statue is that of the Immaculate Conception which is venerated at the parish church of Cospicua in the island of Malta. The Immaculate Conception is when Our Lady was concieved without the original sin. This is what the dogma of the Immaculate Conception confesses, as Pope PiusIX proclaimed in 1854.Four years after this dogma in 1858, Our Lady appeared in Lourdes and identified herself as The Immaculate Conception.

  • VERY NICE. XXXX

  • Thanks Melanie, glad you liked it.

  • @bella50008 I think you rather find that you do not know any theology. These are big theological arguments of the Holy Fathers not mine. I won't dare calling them deluded because I think I would be a bit of a big head.

  • @Alanofskis ...Oh my God. You are completely, utterly and eternally deluded.

  • @bella50008 The main difference is one was conceive through the grace of God the other through his Being.

This then answers both your second and third question. We are all from Adam's race but Jesus and Mary were reserved from God and 'newly-created'.

  • @bella50008 But Mary did not need Jesus salvation because she was saved before, from God Himself. As Jesus was the new Adam, which means that He is not a Son of Adam but a newly made Adam, as if men was re-created (this makes sense since it would be outrageous for God to be a son of his own creation, a sinful creation), then even Mary was the new Eve conceived without sin as Jesus, the new Adam was conceived without sin.

  • @bella50008

The crucial thins is this, John the Baptist and Our Lady were born and conceived without sin through the Grace of God. Jesus was born without sin through Himself because He is who He is.

    2) Jesus came to die for the whole humanity.

  • @bella50008 Moreover God could, willed and did conceive Mary without sin. To add with this tradition has it that Mary was without sin. This tradition is coming from the early fathers of the Church. Surely the Bible did not mention each and every detail of Christ's life, if it were to be we would have a biography, but the Bible gives us the essence, Holy Tradition compliments it.Thirdly there is no doubt about Jesus being sinless because he was the Son of God.

  • @bella50008 ...Mary on the other hand we find her she was conceived without sin. The Angel tells her; “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.” (Lk1;27). Now in Jewish tradition for a person to be in the Grace of God, and not only Mary was in the Grace of God but she was "favored" by God, a person has to be without sin. Therefore Mary must have been without sin in order to be in the Grace of God.

  • @bella50008 !) The Bible never says that Jesus was the only one to be born without sin. There three; John the Baptist, Our Holy Mother and Jesus Himself. But each one of them is different. John the Baptist was not conceived without sin but was born without sin, "When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit" (Lk 1:41). "She was filled with the Holy Spirit" therefore her womb was without sin, in the Grace of God....
