Ambassador Arreaga was on hand for the dedication of the Andrews Theatre at Ásbrú in Reykjanesbær. The theatre was named after World War II General Frank Andrews who was a pioneer of the modern U.S. Air Force. General Andrews perished in a plane crash in the Reykjanes peninsula on May 3, 1943. Ambassador Arreaga gave a short speech honoring General Andrews for his contributions and unveiled a portrait of General Andrews donated by Andrews Air Force Base and the U.S. Embassy as part of the dedication.
