yes momo is tibetan dish. but then tibetan learn from chinese.
before tibetan brought momo into nepal, kiratas had already this recipe of making momo. kiratas used to meet chinese in yangtze, yunnan valley for business, trade and cultural exchange. that's how kiratas learn to grow rice, domesticate pigs and introduced in nepal. if you go to limbu, sunuwar village, you would see kiratis have this delicious dumplings "momo".
