CGDGAD Tuning on Square Deal OM

This song was recorded on a Square Deal OM 13 fret to the body guitar. I play many different versions of the song with various parts. Although it was not a perfect performance, there were mistakes during some transitions, it presents one version of the song. It also reveals how good Square Deal guitars sound. If I did it again I would record with only the microphone. I did not have a preamp for the KK and the mic alone captures more of the true EQ range of the guitar.

The guitar is not the Mellennium series but Square Deal's OM model. I do have carbon fiber truss rod in the neck like the Mellennium, however. When I first bought it I was concerned with the sound being too "tight", for lack of a better term. But with a year of playing the guitar really openned up and the sound keeps getting better.  The only problem I have with the guitar is the the finish is really light. Good for sound but the sweat from my arm has already started to effect the finish.

Thanks for watching. Square Deals are great guitars. Probably the one of the best custom guitar deals around. I was using an Audio-technica AT3035. Also a great deal.

Time to place an order, What are the woods in this guitar? As it is a 13 fret would this be a Millennium series? Now that you have had this guitar for a year or so, what do you think?
