@myfastcarsm3 the problem was egr valve, whats ur symptoms?? is the car starting?? if it is most likely it wont be the crankshaft sensor

Hi m8 i know the timing chain is worn, its been like that since i got it, every other corsa that i hear is the same, can eceryone stop suggesting wats wrong with it as it states it in the title, these r symptoms of the EGR valve. i replaced it and Cured the problem.

Also this Vid was took a while back at 92k miles now i have done 98k and still no chain snap or slip. its pointless replacing timing chain as its an old engine with high milage, id rather just drop 2nc hand engine in

@m0003 hey not quite sure if its the egr valve, but ive been told it could be the idle control valve, but got a corsa 1.2 sxi 2002 and ive been doing alot of research and have a good feeling it could be the crankshaft censor. but the best you could do mate is probably get a code reader on it instead of splashin out alot of money on parts that a perfectly fine. hope this helps
