The kids were invited by Bruce Weber to perform at his dinner, thanking contributors to his new book, All-American VIII: Nature's Way. As Nina Simone was a contributor to the book, we learned the song "Dont Let Me Be Misunderstood", made popular by Nina Simone, and since covered by John Legend and many others.

We did 4 songs all together including "Viva La Vida", and NOT including the small crowd's demand for an encore, for which we did of Bjork's "One Day". Bruce was a really great guy, as were his friends and contributors, who were all either laughing, crying, gasping, or just plain floored by the kids. The kids were a revelation to the guests, and they were very appreciative of the mini-concert! And we had a great time too! (Lump on my head notwithstanding. See video.)

"Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" was written by Bennie Benjamin, Gloria Caldwell, and Sol Marcus for Nina Simone, according to Wikipedia....
