Hey I just listened to your whole take on the electric car and you're wrong. The new electric cars that are hitting the market in the next few years aren't light little golf carts. The Tesla Roadster is a nice sharp 2 seater sports car that can go 250 miles on a charge, up mountians, up hills ect... The other ones coming out soon are the dodge ev, the chevy volt, and the ev focus. I'm about having choices, electric car, gas, hybrids, hydrogen, ethenal, to me its just about being off of oil!

Perhaps you should use Google more and common sense less. A little research would answer many of your questions. Safety: While some prototype EVs have been light weight, most are significantly HEAVIER than their gasoline cousins due to battery weight. So dont worry about blowing off the road. Toyota used to make an Electric version of the RAV-4, which is every bit as safe as the gasoline version.

@nerox2006x the honda hydrogen hybrid its the best electric car idea ever because the other get charged from a plug that leads to a nuclear power station so lots of environmental damage unlike the honda where the hydrogen cell charges the battery then the motor

I really have to wonder if you can document your claims. The batteries in the E cars weigh more than an entire drivetrain on most of todays passenger cars. They use race car crash cages and LiP batteries that don't contain explosive acid. They arn't made for long trips, but then we do most of our driving and polluting in the city. Ever see what is left of a house that explodes from a natural gas leak? What planet will our great grandchildren be forced to live on? Wake up and look around.
