  • Poles put up a brave fight at Westerplatte. They held out much longer than anyone expected.

Poland may have been overrun by the Germans, but the Polish armed forces in exile fought courageously in the European theater.

  • bullshit, take a book and learn something about history. In every election the citizens of danzig refused an integration to germany and poland.

The felt as "danziger" and not as germans or poles.

further, the population was mixed poles and germans. Now danzig is a beautiful city wich was restored and rebuild by the poles after the germans had destroyed it.

  • @tubepeppi "During the time between 1919 and 1939 Poland was one of the most aggressive countries in Europe. They began war against Russia, Czech and tried to involve other countries in a battle against Germany. You can only wonder, when people always repeat the fairytale of the "victim" called Poland..."

    Bullshits you idiot.

Poland was the country between 1919 and 1939 which gained back independence.

This was just after WWI. Who was agressor in this war and 20 years later?

  • @rudanio1 In One German book is that German Merines lost 82 men during first day fights. Than they asked about Danzig SS support. I'm looking for information about next days fights.

  • @raynus1 Yes but boorish guests in their own home.
