The creators of the series managed to do something magnificent. They rolled the dice, and delivered Dust Bowl America to the modern generation. Packaged it with care and reverance, and remained true to those who lived it. This dedication was why it was so expensive. A double story
in reality. They sold the fictional story to HBO. But it is clear to me what was in
their hearts. Brilliant. An artistic, compassionate documentary sold with a
story surpassing Steinbeck.

It's strange that this is off a TV show soundtrack, it's way too....good. Though I guess everything else about Carnivale was better than most TV shows so it stands to reason.
