Have you heard any of the lyrics or know what this album is about? It's about a girl named Kezia who is going to be executed for a crime and is told through 3 different perspective each as dark as the next. That sounds pretty dark and messed up to me. They make happy music too, but are perfectly capable of darker tones. Do research before acting like you know it all, posting that kind of crap makes you look stupid.
