I think the title is misleading being US ARMY 9th Infantry Reg "Manchus" 2nd ID that actually fought the battle of Heartbreak Ridge.

agreeing with siskel on this, on many points. but.....I liked the movie.
clint was cool, everybody else in this movie just seemed like they came out of a cartoon. bad 80's cartoon, like captain planet.

I thought it was a good movie, the performances (most notably Eastwood) were solid all around and the humor was sharp instead of offensive.
