This is a fabrication table I been putting together. I tried to add some features that'll make it easy to hold and position the work. I most always work alone and some of the things here around our place get pretty big and clumsy. Finally got tired of working on the ground and jury rigged arrangements.

The video was taken with a Canon digital camera. It was my first time taking a movie so it's not the best quality but I suppose you get the idea. I did the best I could with Windows Moviemaker to clean it up.

  • Finally someone built the basis of what I had in mind for a woodshop table. My metal shop table would be alot different and not moveable. Out of five inch tube and a piece of plate

  • @ht3oldnavy Probably would make a great woodshop table with a few modifications. Not sure would gain much going with 5" tubing unless it is something you have on hand. The 3 1/2" is just what was there so I went with it. 3" 3/16 wall would probably work as good as any if you're buying stock.

Definitely get the heaviest plate you can for a fab table. The top I have on it now was what I had and more importantly free.Soon will have a 1" thick plate top.

  • Its ugly as sin but I like it!

  • @kingmanny57 Gorilla table...ugly but strong. It is a little prettier now that I got it painted. Looks even better with a bunch of paying jobs on it. :)

  • Love it and stealing some ideas, thanks for posting and have a great holiday season!

  • @1337cookie Table works out good. I built a similar one for working outdoors. My wife is a real good hand, better than a lot of guys I've worked with. Taught her some stick welding but she likes the tig better.

Thanks for the compliments and good luck.

  • I love the sound of your voice and the way you speak of your wife. Very funny (excuse my reaction I'm from a small country).

Awesome video I'm definitely stealing some ideas from this.
