Long Handle floor scraper you would have been done in less than an hour and no sore back.

Nope to the garden hoe. i tried that. Not as easy as it would seem.

It's a concrete slab. The contractor I questioned recommended that I completely clear the floor then put the tile on top of slab.

It did until I figured out that if you add a little bit of hot water, it comes right up. Of course that wasn't until about 5 hours in. As you can see in the video. If did help out when I had to do my bathroom. Same vinyl... Same process. And again. No asbestos. I checked with the flooring company.

Um. Yeah. Right. The house is only 12 years old. There is not asbestos in it. It was all paper and vinyl.
