Wow! All the comments are about the bookstore and none of them are about the video itself. This is a great little time-lapse video that really shows what a GoPro camera can do. Good job!

That's just how business works :(

@shopgirl5505 a few less books? ....in a bookstore? ....mmmmmmmmmmmk...

@Choad1175 Have you been in a Half Price Books or know anything about the company? You can't seriously compare this to Walmart just because they are able to provide a video like this. Go to their website and check out how they started. Their growth has been nothing but a good thing.

@Ryaaaaaan There's also the guy next to her with the brace, doing nothing. You'd think he'd be doing some lifting instead of watching everyone else.

@Choad1175 Half Price Books main stock is used material. HPB can't exist without first-run stores. And 113 stores over 39 years across the country is hardly Wal-Mart type growth.

that tie dyed shirt at :30 is 14 years old!

What's with the coffee lady and mover at 0:41 standing around doing nothing? Do some work!

I know what you mean Choad 1175! I much prefer a smaller independant bookstore that has a few less books, but a lot more character, and customer service to a 'super store'. Reminds me of "You've Got Mail' ! Can you say "Fox Books" anyone?
Reminds me of Wallmart moving into a neighborhood and putting all the little shops out of business! I own a little used bookstore (for 28 yrs!) and would HATE to see this move in to my town!

i used to work at HPB. i do not any longer (back to school). this is nothing like wal-mart. my husband worked for a wal-mart so i do know how they operate and frankly there is no basis to wal-mart running out companies anyway. hpb moves to new locations because people demand it and they survive because people shop there. heaven forbid someone operates a shop that is beneficial to consumers instead of small-business monopolies keeping high prices on their books b/c people have no other options.
