    I think the 99% of similairity with chimps based on genetics is only true for 'genes' and not the entire genome. For the entire genome, i read it was only 98%.

    When you show an actual increase in the genome, you might have an audience besides the ones drooling to buy into evolution (macro). Even when a beneficial variation (micro) is present, it's always due to a loss of information, not a gain. You can self-impose anything long enough, loud enough, and often enough, and the religion will get followers. Genuine proof is in the demonstration, which will never be possible, because it simply doesn't happen.
