    freewheel and cassette are different. freewheel is mounted on thread on hub. Cassete is a driver that goes into hub. On cassette you can change the abbount of teeth very fast and its easier and better than freewheel. Freewheels are gay and i dont think they are availble in 8t or 9t. The smallest i have seen was 13t freewheel.
