  • A very neat version of the Heian Katas. Posted by: Jimmy Bowden of the Shotokan Karate - Kenkojuku Style via the Takashi Akusawa Lineage.

  • ME GUSTO EL KIME , MUY BUENO. GRACIAS POR SUBIRLO. GRACIAS BEZANI OR TU COLABORACION. '

  • Buena base técnica

  • In fact, more than one :p

  • There's a kiai missing in this video.

  • We practice in Fudokan karate Heian Oikumi wich is the same except one or two movements. If I know well the name Heian Oikumi means to clamp Heian katas. Prof. Jorga - founder of Fudokan - studied under sensei Kase. It's a great kata and easy to confuse with Heian katas or Kanku Dai!

  • I now this kata! It was created by Shihan Taiji Kase. During the 80´s. Heian Oyo means Peaceful mind modified/diffren´t. The perpouse of this kata is to never have the same technique repeated true the whole kata. It is considered a black belt kata by the organizations following Kase-ha: Shoto Mushinkai, Kase-ha Shotokan Karate-Do Academy, of coz there is more organizations following his way... So this is Shotokan, but Kases way so its called: KASE-HA

  • Yeah, when I saw the title, had me wondering. He started with a Heian Nidan move, then a Sandan, back to Nidan, then stayed at Sandan for a minute...threw me off for a minute. Wonder what style this is?

  • If you are going to show an kata only for learning purpose, then the kata must be as correct as possible, if you show wrong, well then all who watch it here will learn it wrong, right? What i learned from Kase for this kata was that the side kicks we do are yoko-geri kekomi not keage, and the 2 kicks from kata Heian sandan is mika-tsuki geri not mae-geri. But then again we are differen't fraction and organization within Kase-Ha style so i guess this is ok in another organization...

  • ca recite , pas de kimé rien ...
