  • This is not just apparent in big religious cults but even smaller lesser known groups. They tell you how to vote, who to have as your friends, and use the pulpit to impose and project their opinions onto you and use the Bible to try and back it up. You're left with thinking that you've got to be "just like them" in order to fit in and be accepted.

  • it can be as small as 2 people

    called the cult of two!

  • @InFromTheVoid Turn to yourself. Christians are cultists. Science and academia have long been cultish. Cults of entertainment, military cults (ex: USMC), cop cults, brand cults, political cults. Some businesses are cults. It is so easy to let others think for you. Atheism is a cult in many ways too. Think for yourself. Start from zero and question everything that was imprinted upon your brain without your informed conscious consent: religion, science, morality, aesthetics - all of it.

  • She's right. My parents are distant and don't care to really get to know me. My mom is an unreasonable person. In the face of facts she still defends the JWs.

I was raised by Jehovah's Witnesses from birth. I left when I turned 18. I'm 26 now and am still trying to put the pieces of my life together.

  • Very insightful. This was great advice.

  • OK then what are you doing? simply defining what others are so if you were telling them this would you not be defining them? would that not make you a "Cult", and who ses who is "insane" as i see it no one has the right to state what anyone person is and if someone wants to follow someone else it is there free will. so i leave you people to think on that. i just beleave that "cult" is another word meant to scare people.

  • No doubt about it these are some of the the followers of Jesus on his left hand that He will proclaim in the last hours " I never knew you" because of the false doctrines and teachings they embraced.

  • You are are right! It's hard to reason with them for they are well brainwashed and highly deluded by their leaders. They see the world not in a normal well and they think they are always right and the only ones can be saved at the last day. But Jesus Christ and his apostles warned us about this that in the last days that many shall be deceived even the very elect,They shall believe lies to be the truth with doctrines of devils. A great delusions they believe in.

  • Right now I am working on exposing Ruckmanism and Peter Ruckman's KJVO cult. They have mostly kept quiet for now knowing that I could rip right through them. The false teachings of that man are heretical as well very dangerous. These cults are a dime a dozen.

  • It's no one! Not know one. Spell check won't figure it out for you, but for crying out loud, if you read a little bit, you might learn how to spell the correct written word.

  • you are very smart and intriguing, i enjoyed this and has helped me alot! x

  • @SororThothma Don't worry I do :) The only premise I make, is that nature exists. and I only feel ok about making this because when I don't eat I get hungery lol but I think you know what I mean.
