The "Do Not Race To the Yellow", was implemented after the Dale Jerritt crash, at I think Indy, in the early too mid 2000's. It was a horrible crash. He got hit several times, just before the line, after he had already been wrecked.

@mar4eloser4e Gaines was the driver who was t-boned. Due to this crash, teh qualifyign system was changed (so if a car was stopped in the track then they wouldn't get hit). I have forgotten what that change was, but there was one!
