@realdiamondshow - You're right, he's at the start of his career and these dolts in the audience have be paid a quid a head to sit through this song. 10 years later, they look back and think "why didn't I get his autograph, his photograph, sleep with him or something?" By the mid-1970's, Neil Diamond was THE MAN and everyone knew who he was.
