  • AND THE CROWD GOES WILD!!

  • I never had a girl friend that I could rhyme her name.. Let's see Shirley, Ann, Meg...Nope !

  • Wow, what a lively crowd. Hard to imagine singing in front of a group like that. Quite a difference from that and the Greek Theatre crowd.

  • Neil looks a wee bit toasted in this clip. Ah well, it WAS the Sixties.

  • @realdiamondshow - You're right, he's at the start of his career and these dolts in the audience have be paid a quid a head to sit through this song. 10 years later, they look back and think "why didn't I get his autograph, his photograph, sleep with him or something?" By the mid-1970's, Neil Diamond was THE MAN and everyone knew who he was.

  • It is amusing at 1:38 where they show some sympathetic females in the audience. Nonetheless, this is a good song.

  • damm I was 7 when this was out.....I remember hearing it on AM WFIL 54.1 Philly

  • great man. loved his songs. im starting to learn them on the quitar.

  • looks just like i remember - first time i saw him - still lovestruck after all these years like 45 or so -no one can compare to this mans words
