These are just some questions and issues I have with Jehovah's Witnesses when they claim to be the ones doing the most witnessing of all Christian religions/denominations. But my question is; what are they emphasizing when they preach?

  • I think The reason they start out with topics like, Gods name, The new earth, And the end times, Because they want to spark peoples interest. There not just gunna go to the door and be like, "You are under the wrath of god because of your sins, place your faith in jesus" There not so forceful like that.

  • Hey, thanks for your comment and for checking out my video. I am all about conversation starters, and entering into discussions on "non-primary" topics. In fact, I will often do this with JW's at my door for the same reason as they. The difference is, JW's emphasize topics like paradise earth and will argue it until the cows come home, as if that's an essential topic for salvation, whereas I will use these as opportunities to enter into a discussion about salvation or the nature of God.

  • Ive Enjoyed Alot of Your Video's and i appreciate that you actually checked out what they teach, I have attened alot of meetings i am not a jehovah's witness i am just a kid looking for the truth. I feel like alot of the video's on youtube discourage them alot and display alot of wrong facts about them. Alot of people dont even beleive there Christians. I wish there was more open minded people like you, who actually check things out for themselves instead of Judging a book by its cover. Thanks

  • Thank you for your components. I spent over 2 years in personal study with the JW's as well as attend meeting. And it's so very important to check what ANYONE says against the scriptures (Acts 17:11, 1 Thes. 5:21), including what I say). And you are right that there is a lot of incorrect information out there, and the Warchtower is no exception. Keep searching and always be willing to follow the truth wherever it may lead.

  • And as we have numerous vital organs, there are numerous vital scriptural issues. But if the WT is wrong about the date of the end of the gentile times or wrong about the explanation of generations, thats not a vital issue when compared to belief in God, faith in Jesus, or repentance, etc. Humans are imperfect and we all make a lot of little and big mistakes and I know the WT has made some big ones, but everybody without exception has. point is how sincere and hard are you trying?

  • @stonewallgregg no, I do not agree that Jesus' apostles nor any other Christian will be ruling in heaven. Christ's rule with His followers will ultimately be on the earth. As for the "preparing a place for them to sit on thrones," i'd have to know what text you are referring to. I'm not aware of any text which speaks of Christians ruling in heaven with Christ for all eternity. When carefully analyzed, all of these "heaven" texts actually make better sense in an earthly context.

  • Hi Mike. without you stating your actual belief, you might agree that Jesus' apostles will rule from heaven with him? He did say he would prepare a place for them that they would sit on thrones, correct? and would you consider them to be christians? I dont view "side issues" as equally important as main issues. you can cut off your toe and still live and some issues are that important, such as when the gentile times ended. Other issues are like your heart or other vital organs.

  • @stonewallgregg Hey Greg, its good to hear from you. I agree with pretty much all of what you said in the above, minus the doctrinal details that were unmentioned. And yes, I agree that the eternal hope for all Christians is earth. Of course, you think that 144,000 go to heaven, but I disagree in that I don't think that any Christian will spend eternity in heaven. But that's a whole separate issue.

My point is inserting non-gospel "side issues" as if they were equally important.

  • To say that if youre saved that you will be in heaven is not scripturally accurate because Gods kingdom is going to come and his will shall take place on earth as it is in heaven. God will be with mankind and he will wipe every tear from their eyes...no more death. So we dont believe that to tell someone they will go to heaven if their saved is correct. Yes, we do talk about repentence and believing and having faith but not to initiate a conversation. Its all about the kingdom.

  • HI MIke. its been a while. The central message is what Jesus said...the good new of the kingdom....and thats the thrust of our message. And that message has to do with what that kingdom is and what it will accomplish and how to be a part of the arrangment. knowledge is vitally necessary john 17:3 There are many aspects to the kingdom message and other topics we might use to lead into discussion. and to us, the paradise(and not heaven) is a very important part of our message

  • Paul's ministry to the greeks is different than the message being proclamed today! Yes, Luke 16:16 look that up. Also, the last days are upon us no denieing that which means God will act to bring about lasting benefits to the righteous & destruction to the wicked, by means of God's kingdom. All the prophecies about the KIngdom is the message in the end times. Did you not ever read of Jesus fulfilling Isaiah's propehcy, Isa 61:1? Two parts of that message "to proclaim liberty & goodwill and

  • @DefendingYHWH Just to show how wrong some interpetations are. back in mid-evil days, catholic priest took this scripture in 1 Tim. mentioned earlier literally. They would take women who just had babies, pack them in mud and if they died they must of sinned. We know now they got septic and died. So bible interpetaion changes. NWT has updated the KJ version to how we speak today. it does not have different teachings.

  • @hurleytrigger mormon males are the only one out door to door and go only for 2/1/2 yrs. Where the bible does not give a time line for it our a gender. Its says Go out therefore and make disicples. (In Matthew) that is what JW's do. They adhere to Bible teachings and make it a life style. But finally a comment section where eveyone is not trashing JW's with bad language and hatred. Thank you
