Here's some edited video footage I shot while I was in College. It shows Nelsonville's transformation as well as 4 of the stars of the film.

  • Great behind-the-scenes stuff from an underrated movie. Thanks for sharing. As someone familiar with the Nelsonville area, I'm hoping you might be able to answer a question for me. Do you know if the "Mischief" scene where Gene rides his bike down the hilly street toward Marilyn and proceeds to crash into a parked car filmed in Nelsonville? I've read it was, but I can't confirm. Any chance you know? If yes, what street was it? Thanks again for the video!

The fountain is on, and has been turned on over the last several years. They empty it in the winter, but it is filled and on in the summer months.

  • I learned how to drive in the town square . :)

  • back in 1984 may 27th my mom interupted this movie in labor with me

  • I'm very familiar with Nelsonville Ohio, I recognize every bit of the scenery you shot. Great film dude, if you still live in nelville I gotta look you up
