I know I'm probably in the minority here but I felt Fallout: New Vegas had a better overall story.

@4DaHorde3 It's about a person, you, who begins his/her life in a fallout shelter known as Vault 101. You progress through life to the point where your father escapes, and you pursue him into "The Capital Wasteland/Wastes" which was once Washington DC and the surrounding area.

W/o doing the side quests, Fallout 3 is a very short game, one person even completed it within 3 hours.
