I also preferred the "think one person can change the world? so do we." thing. from an observer it seems like someone or something is trying to radically change the character and nature of oberlin.

we, the students who are there during the transition, have more of a problem because it's false advertising. eh. they're not going to change it back, but wa have to option to voice our opinion.
