What kind of table saw is the base saw for this?

Why not use a saw guard? It's not a good idea to drag the cut pices back through the saw either. Only go forward.

@arktiro , you're right, but because i also needed bevel cuts, i couldn't use the saw guard. as for the backward movement - i moved the panel slightly away from the blade when retracting, but you can't see it in the video. Thanks for the tips!
