I got it at an intro price of about $600. Their version 1 needed some changes to make the tips line up right, so I got the revision 2's but had to pay for shipping back and the shipment of the new version to me. The details are on the web page referenced in the description.

A cat-back exhaust offers little (if any) performance change. The bottle neck for exhaust pressure is in the cat/cons. This gives a better exhaust note without being overly loud and obnoxious. dBA results are shown on the referenced web page.

"Sounding weak" is most likely a function of the recording/playback process. That's why the web site documents the actual dBA output for a real-world comparison. Each person's speakers (and recording mics) are usually different and can cause a perception of difference where perhaps on doesn't exist. Measured dBA based on DOT standards is the only way to really compare volume. Going beyond DOT maximums is a sure way to invite attention from LEOs and tick off your neighbors.

I take it, this is with the stock downpipe? I am curious how much louder the magnaflow gets with an aftermarket downpipe

@sutter2k - just added the downpipe a few months ago. people say it has a very Porsche-like sound. i personally don't notice an increase in loudness.
