  • EV IS NOW !

  • EV IS THE FUTURE !

  • The batteries are the driving cost factor in every (strictly) electric car. The electric vs. gas propulsion component costs are about a wash.

  • wouldnt it be great if you could get this techlogy into say a taxi, How about a NEW YORK CITY CAB. THAT WOULD BE SOMETHING

  • The Tesla uses AA size cells, a lot of them, and yes, early Li-on cells can overheat when being charged, and catch fire. But newer li-on batteries made especially for cars are much bigger, and replace the graphite with a safer material so much safer.

  • only $25000 more?! the car costs $25000 to start.. thats double the cost!

but electric isa very cool idea, especially in a city :o)

I read an article about a hybrid mini that gets 80 miles to the gallon and has a 400 Mile reach on one tank!

  • great way to almost crash it there at the end... only joking, great video and I must say the Mini is the perfect car for electricity because of its size.

  • For a cool $100K. Why not just buy a personal blimp and hire a pilot?

  • They're only 100,000 a piece. I'm glad you can afford the mortgage on one.

  • And, how much do the batteries cost?
