I spend some time to work on Misery Reformatory, a new song of "Job For A Cowboy", and here is a drum cover of this song !

I've also tried to do all the blast beat with one foot

I don't use any trigger, only microphone and this video is not speed up, of course !

Very nice, especially the sound. I noticed you don't use triggers. What batter head are you using on your bass drum, how is each side tuned, and how much muffling do you use, if any? The information would be greatly appreciated, as I'm thinking of what head to record without triggers. Thanks, and keep up the badass drumming.

Hi @Ninjuggla ! Well you have to find the better solution with your bass drum. It's pretty hard you know ! Frist of all, you have to know that I have a 24 bass drum. My beater drumhead is an Aquirian SuperKick II. On the other side I've an Aquarian regulator. My muffle is a rockbag one. The two drumhead are low tuned (the superkick II is a little higher tuned), but not "dead tuned". Notice that it is often better to not put anything on the drumhead. My beaters are tama rubber one.

@Ninjuggla I use two microphones on my bass drum, a boundary microphone and a dynamic microphone. It is almost necessary to use a boundary microphone if you want to play metal without trigger. You can also put a Shure SM57 or SM7B very close to the beater drumhead (if you don't have boundary microphone, it's a good alternative solution). If you have question just ask ! Have a good day !
