How does this look good? I see 100s of people just zerging a few guys. I see alot of the exact same looking black winged guys running around. Is their even a death penalty for PvP? Or does everyone keep respawning for infinity like WoW?

Yes there is a death penalty, you lose exp.

And how this is good ? It's the freedom ,you gather your guild and raid other bands,the adrenaline of risk and reward.This is war, not small scale combat like gw/wow have.

Well level always plays a factor. However yes, Aion is strongly base on gear. And though the drop rates have been increased, abyss gear (which is the best gear especially for pvp) requires large amount of abyss points and medals which takes awhile. Also manastone and enchantment stones to increase the stats of your gear is hugely based on luck and also unfortunately has a penalty towards failed attempts. So no if you hope to be the toughest in a easy manner it's not gonna happen.

@tman229 what i mean by hard is like is it easy to get strong there? like getin gear and stuff, or does it just count on your lv to be stong or not.

@jayquan15ify Also level 55 is cap. The game isn't really hard (though most mmorpgs aren't) but if you mean time consuming it's harder than say WoW but easier than most old school mmos like Everquest, Final Fantasy 11, Ragnarok online, and Lineage 2. Hope that helps.

@jayquan15ify Yes, most of the game is world pvp which consist of either rifting (breaking into enemy faction's homeland) or abyss/balaurea (balaurea for higher levels). By level 20 when you enter the second region (aside from the newbie region) you would be able to rift or run into rifters. Level 25 is the abyss is the main pvp place to pvp against enemy factions but alot of people perfer rifting over abyss because of the bad flight mechanics for melee. Then there is balaurea.

@tman229 so they only have open world pvp? what lv do you have to be to go to that pvp? also what is the last lv in the game ? and is it easy is it a east game ? like to lv up and stuff?

@jayquan15ify It's open world pvp. Elyos faction vs Asmodian faction. Two different races at all out war with each other.
