See http://tinyurl.com/57l953, article on "The Ethics of Exhibition: Romancing the Scrolls."
Apparently, an important group of Jewish researchers have been excluded from participating in this exhibit, which is being hosted by the North Carolina Department of the Environment. According to critics, the exhibit is biased, misleading, and caters to a Christian perspective.

  • See the Spinoza's Lens article (linked to the right of the video) entitled "The Ethics of Exhibition: Romancing the Scrolls." Apparently, the exhibit distorts the current state of research; a major group of Jewish scholars have been excluded along with the evidence that led them to reject the moribund "Qumran-sectarian" theory; and the North Carolina Department of the Environment press release announcing the exhibit contains an anti-semitic, Christian-oriented insinuation.

  • This is an offensive, biased exhibit whose aim is to make a financial profit from popular fascination with the origins of Jesus and, further, to mislead the public about the current state of research on the Dead Sea Scrolls. The exhibit is biased towards a Christian perspective, and an important group of Jewish scholars have been excluded. For further information, google the article entitled "The Ethics of Exhibition: Romancing the Scrolls," by Robert Dworkin.
