@bakanbi Miles didn't hire servants but equals. He had great respect for Wayne and the other members of the band.

@bakanbi I don't think Wayne was just a kind of sideman, who gave the passes so that Miles could score. He is far to talented for that.

Much praise and respect to Wayne Shorter for his brilliance as both a composer and soloist. He has impacted the jazz world like none other for so many decades and this classic piece is a "must hear" - which is typical of Wayne's works and recordings. Thanks.
