  • @bakanbi Miles didn't hire servants but equals. He had great respect for Wayne and the other members of the band.

  • @LLeia Sheet music can be found on the net. The intro seems to revolve around the chord D7.

  • @bakanbi I don't think Wayne was just a kind of sideman, who gave the passes so that Miles could score. He is far to talented for that.

  • Beautiful sax solo...demonstrating that it's more important to play the right notes than to play lots of notes.

  • Much praise and respect to Wayne Shorter for his brilliance as both a composer and soloist. He has impacted the jazz world like none other for so many decades and this classic piece is a "must hear" - which is typical of Wayne's works and recordings. Thanks.
