04/14/2007 11:00pm a mesa police officer pulls over a pontiac with 2 occupants, the officer runs the names of both and it is determined the passenger has a felony warrant. The officer goes to question the passenger about the warrant and the passenger takes out a gun and starts shooting. The officer takes cover and a responding back-up officer fatally shoots the suspect. The victim, Dale Nelson Crismon - 51 of Mesa AZ died at the scene. Police are still investigating as to the cause of this shooting.

  • he didnt even have a gun that was my girlfriends dad they have never had guns in their family and you can tell everything that officer said was bullshit because of how much he studdered they shot him in the head because their nothing but a bunch of stupid pigs end of story

  • would you wait for someone to point a gun at you then pull the trigger before you returned fire? i dont think so. if someone pointed a gun at me i wouldn't wait to fire at him and nethier would a officer? so whats your point he didn't shoot he didint have to to get shot?

  • The Autopsy showed no trace of powder on the body so he never fired a weapon (reported by the family). This was not a routine traffic stop as it involved a paid informant who was in the vehicle at the time. The victims family tried to retrieve the surveillance video from that night at the gas station.. they were told "it does not record" hmmmm I've heard that one before..
