im trying to download an extension and it keeps saying "An error has occurred.

Download was not a CRX."

Enabling an extension in the Window > Extensions menu isn't sufficient! I have to click on its icon next to the Omnibar to toggle it on / off...

Not in the least bit obvious and I have been using computers for over thirty years. Apple would have an icon "fly" into its new home so that you would notice the change to the browser.

Anyway, got it to work now.

i've downloaded a file which is an extension to chrome with *.crx extension (of course :) But i dont have a clue on how to make it work with chrome. I understand that only extensions downloaded from chrome webstore can only work. Correct me if i am wrong

Why would I really want to try tis out since Google Chrome obviously don't have any computer programmers to make a better bookmark system. What they have now is easy-but only because you can bookmark 8 sites. With all this new stuff coming out-how about making a better Chrome bookmark system?
