Longevity - Laughing (Regina Spektor) With Lyrics

As science continues to explore extending life spans, all that stands as fact to date, are the historic evidence. While there are 'more' people surviving as opposed to our historic past which was plagued with various illnesses, lack of medical knowledge, and more; mankind continues to live no longer than has been true since the time of Noah - 120 years - the general maximum.

As a family historian (genealogist), I have documented scores of persons in my own family tree, which have lived well into seniority ... and these documented persons span a time-line of over 500 years. Secular evidence supports that persons have topped out at about 120 years.

Averages listed for purposes of statistics and 'life expectancy' are based on the numbers of persons living as opposed to those dying -- they do not reflect that 'life longevity' has changed one iota since the dawn of recorded history.

Believe or don't believe is a choice. This video is to but give pause for thought on the longevity of a life and the Judeo-Christian principles that support historical longevity standings. Some believe that our faith contends against science -- when in reality, one merely supports and verifies the other in many areas. This is but a humble rendering of one item.

I don't believe in God. I don't think I ever will. I find that kind of belief both very beautiful AND very ugly. But, I have prayed every now and then -- in times of desperation.

I'm agnostic, but this song is spot on. Its easy to mock the idea of god when life's going your way. I'm guilty of it, but there have been times, when Ive almost died, or I've almost lost loved ones... you break into prayer AND YOU DONT EVEN REALIZE IT.
