Alright! Here is the Open Road Overdrive Pedal using a Gibson Les Paul Classic......Personally I think this pedal is better with Humbuckers than the Route 808. I have them both on my pedal board and it just seems to shine with the Open Road Overdrive. However....they both work great and provide different tone options....I will be using both live for the next few months....

  • yeah man...I tend to switch more to the 15w side for some different tone options. We use the NT a ton in the studio. It's just great to get a Vox type tone with different speaker options.

  • nice buying this

  • @bloc22 ..Dude. This pedal keeps hanging around. Which means its great.

  • I will say that I am impressed by the sound that this thing makes. Owning a jekyll and Hyde I will say that the sound is a little more raunchy and natural sounding then the OD on the J&H.

  • Yes...I agree. I own 2 American made J&H's and it is a bigger sounding pedal. It's great with the J&H any other overdrive. I seem to use it live as my "cleaner" overdrive sound and let the other overdrive be a more dirtier sound..

  • Sounds fabulous here, much better than gearmanndude's demo.I really think about buying it despite having already too much pedals.

  • Thanks man...I love gearmandude. This is a good pedal. It's still on my pedal board...that is saying a lot.

  • You absolutely can't beat this pedal for under $120.

  • @bikerpastor71 well... thats because the OD side of a jekyll and hyde isn't open road, its route 808. You can check it from visual sound's homepage.

  • Wow! That sounds great!

  • just bought one of these! Can't wait to get it on my board

  • nice to see you went out and got the Route 808 after your first demo. Both are really solid pedals!

  • your awesome demo's are pushing me of the edge. I'm getting this pedal.

ps. I think the night train sounds a bit fatter on the 15W setting. at first I used only the 7,5W because I use it in my apartment but now I just keep it on the 15 and turn the volume a little lower, even though the valves aren't being pushed as much on this lower volume it still sounds richer than on the 7.5 setting. imho

  • @MrBombhouserec awesome

  • @bikerpastor71 couldn't agree more. I love my Jekyll and Hyde, but i feel like it takes my amp from 1 to 6 on the gain scale, this would fill in the 2-5 spot nicely
